PROBLEMS FACED NOW
In general, the main problem faced by TAMAN ISLAM at the moment is the lack of funds and it will certainly affect the process of reconstruction of the building here. After 45 years of sowing devotion, many 2 -storey building blocks are badly dilapidated and not up to the heart to be seen let alone used for learning activities. Seriously, the dormitory building and the primary school building are very dilapidated. The walls have been eaten by termites and rotted because the building is too old 😭
Even sadder, in January 2022, 32 residents of TAMAN ISLAM were involved in a fire that caused the victims involved to live in a slum.
BIG IMPACT IF DONATIONS CANNOT BE COLLECTED AND PROBLEMS CONTINUE
TAMAN ISLAM is facing an unprecedented level of stress due to the current situation. The ongoing challenges and difficulties have been placing an immense strain on our operations, and if this situation persists, it will undoubtedly continue to impact our ability to provide effective learning and teaching in tahfiz, as well as our overall sustainability and existence as a tahfiz institution.

Alhamdulillah, we have high hopes to see the tahfiz learning and teaching system continue to operate and run smoothly in TAMAN ISLAM to produce superior hafiz and hafizah. With this, the sustainability and existence of TAMAN ISLAM as a tahfiz institution will be able to thrive.
INSPIRATION STORIES & SUCCESS OF MADRASAH
Many success stories and inspirations are born from TAMAN ISLAM. Among them are
✅ TAMAN ISLAM has succeeded in producing many dakwah icons in the community, including the late Ustaz Riduan Rahmat, former Head of the Selangor Ulama Council.
✅ TAMAN ISLAM has also produced the nasyid group Lambaian Kasih (LK) which has recorded 2 albums, namely Hidayah Keinsafan and Dunia oh Dunia. Now the former LK member has joined with other members and created the Soutul Amal group which is active in the nasyid industry until now.
HOW CAN YOU HELP AND CONTRIBUTE?
The total funds required is RM4.1 million(about USD970K/SGD1.3 million). The breakdown of funds is as follows
✅ School building: RM 300K
✅ Female dormitory building: RM 300K
✅ Female dormitory building: RM 300K
✅ Teacher’s house: RM 500K
✅ Accommodation Room (Parents who come far to stay): RM 250K
✅ School van: RM 150K
✅ Monthly learning cost: RM 50K
For Phase 1, we need funds amounting to RM900,000 for the construction of maahad girls’ dormitory buildings and student dormitories.
InsyaAllah, when Phase 1 is successfully made, we already have plans to complete the teacher’s house, accommodation room, school van and operating costs in Phase 2 and Phase 3.

“Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam adalah orang yang paling dermawan. Dan beliau lebih dermawan lagi di bulan Ramadhan saat beliau bertemu Jibril. Jibril menemuinya setiap malam untuk mengajarkan Al Qur’an. Dan kedermawanan Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam melebihi angin yang berhembus.” (HR. Bukhari, no.6)

Pusat Pengajian Taman Islam (TAMAN ISLAM) is located in Lot 1520 Kg Bakau Tinggi 24000 Kemaman, Terengganu was established in 1977 and has been operating for more than 45 years and is also one of the oldest schools in Terengganu.
Unfortunately, most of the facilities available at this study center are facilities that have existed since the beginning of its establishment. The condition of these facilities is getting poor and outdated for students to use.
